CURADORA E PESQUISADORA DE ARTES VISUAIS
Ana Carolina Ralston é mestra pela Columbia New York University | UB em jornalismo cultural e pós-graduada em arte, crítica e curadoria pela PUC de São Paulo. Pesquisadora e curadora de artes visuais, organiza e realiza textos e projetos para instituições, entre elas Pavilhão da Bienal, MIS-SP, Centro Cultural Correios, MuBA, Praça das Artes e Biblioteca Mário de Andrade, e galerias, como Raquel Arnaud, A Gentil Carioca, Marilia Razuk e Leme. Foi curadora adjunta do museu FAMA, em Itu/SP, entre 2018 e 2020, onde assinou exposições de Louise Bourgeois, Tracey Emin, Arthur Bispo do Rosário entre outras; e diretora artística da galeria Kogan Amaro, com unidades em São Paulo e Zurique, durante o mesmo período. Como jornalista, foi redatora-chefe da revista mensal do jornal O Estado de S. Paulo, sobre moda e cultura, entre 2020 e 2023. Também foi editora sênior de cultura e lifestyle da Vogue Brasil, entre 2013 e 2018, e diretora da Harper’s Bazaar Art, em 2019. Sua pesquisa trata sobre o universo ambiental e a tecnologia.
Ana Carolina Ralston holds a master’s degree from Columbia New York University | UB in cultural journalism and a postgraduate degree in art, criticism, and curatorship at PUC São Paulo. A researcher and curator of visual arts, she organizes and writes texts and projects for institutions, including the Biennial Pavilion, MIS-SP, Centro Cultural Correios, MuBA, Praça das Artes, and Biblioteca Mário de Andrade, as well as galleries such as Raquel Arnaud, A Gentil Carioca, Marilia Razuk, and Leme. She was the co-curator of the FAMA museum in Itu/SP from 2018 to 2020, where she curated exhibitions featuring Louise Bourgeois, Tracey Emin, Arthur Bispo do Rosário, among others. During the same period, she served as the artistic director of the Kogan Amaro gallery, which has locations in São Paulo and Zurich. As a journalist, she was the editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine of the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, covering fashion and culture, from 2020 to 2023. She was also the senior editor for culture and lifestyle at Vogue Brasil from 2013 to 2018 and the director of Harper’s Bazaar Art in 2019. Her research focuses on the environmental universe and technology.

Também foi diretora artística da Galeria Kogan Amaro, com unidades em São Paulo e Zurique, onde apresentou dezenas de exposições, além de criar o núcleo de jovens artistas. Como jornalista cultural, assinou como redatora-chefe da revista mensal do jornal O Estado de S. Paulo sobre moda e cultura, entre 2020 e 2023. Já foi editora sênior de cultura da Vogue Brasil, entre 2013 e 2018, e diretora da Harper’s Bazaar Art, em 2019. É mestra em jornalismo cultural pela Columbia New York University na Espanha e pós-graduada em arte, crítica e curadoria pela PUC-SP. Atualmente, dedica-se à pesquisa sobre arte natureza e a relação entre o universo ambiental e tecnológico.
Ana Carolina Ralston is an independent art curator and researcher. She writes and organizes exhibition and art projects around the world. She worked as art director at Kogan Amaro gallery, based in São Paulo, Brazil, and Zurich, Switzerland, and curator at FAMA museum, in Itu, Brazil from 2018 to 2020. She was deputy editor at Moda Magazine, a monthly publication about fashion and culture by O Estado de São Paulo, leader newspaper in Brazil, from 2020 until 2023; cultural and lifestyle senior editor at Vogue Brazil from 2013 until 2018; and as editor in chief at Harper’s Bazaar Art in 2019. She has a master degree in cultural journalism at Columbia New York University in Spain and postgraduate in art, critic and curatorship at PUC-SP.
